  • Carry-on liquid restrictions apply (3.4 oz / 100 ml each). Confirm guidelines with your airline.
  • Leave room in your suitcase for souvenirs and gifts.
  • Italy uses 220V with Type C and Type L outlets. A universal adapter was included in your mailer. Hair dryers and styling irons may need a voltage converter.

Italian Dining Culture: Italians tend to dine later than in many other countries, so mealtimes are typically from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM for lunch and from 7:30 PM to 10:30 PM for dinner. How can I receive updates about the trip?

Will I receive a cash allowance for meals on my own?
For any meals not provided within the program, guests are invited to dine at their discretion utilizing the designated cash allowance, provided in USD upon arrival in Rome.
Travel & Transportation
Do I need a valid passport?
Yes. All travelers are required to have a valid passport with at least six months of validity past your departure date. Your passport expiration date must be after October 21, 2026. For information on how to apply for or renew a passport, visit travel.state.gov/passports.
What is the Fast Track service?
Upon arrival at Fiumicino Airport (FCO), you and your guest will enjoy Fast Track service. A representative from Fourth Dimension Italy will greet you at the gate holding a sign with the CEO Council logo and your name. You will be escorted through a dedicated fast-track immigration lane, assisted with baggage claim, and taken to your private transfer. If your aircraft parks remotely and you are transferred by bus, your representative will meet you inside the terminal.
Is ground transportation provided to and from the airport?
Yes. Private ground transportation will be provided between Fiumicino Airport (FCO) and The St. Regis Rome for both your arrival and departure (approximately 45 minutes). On departure day, transportation to the airport will be arranged with a departure notice provided onsite.

Will checked bag fees be covered?
Yes. You can expense a maximum of two checked bags, one each for you and your guest.
What is the EU's new Entry/Exit System?
As of April 2026, the EU's Entry/Exit System is fully operational, replacing traditional passport stamps with a digital process. At the border, non-EU visitors will have fingerprints and a facial image collected, along with travel dates. The information is stored electronically for three years and is designed to make border checks faster and more secure.

When is the check-in and check-out time?
The St. Regis Rome check-in time is 3:00 PM and check-out time is 10:30 AM. Early check-in is not guaranteed.
Will there be hotel charges?
You will be asked to present a credit card for incidental charges. All major credit cards are accepted. Any incidental charges incurred will be at your own expense. These incidental charges include in-room movies, upgraded internet, minibar, and dry-cleaning services. Your guest room, taxes, and scheduled group meal functions included in your program agenda are covered. Porterage and housekeeping gratuities for the program dates are also included.

Bellmen, housekeeping, and gratuities for pre-arranged activities and hotel transfers are pre-paid for the program.

Is breakfast included?
Yes. Breakfast is available daily from 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM at LUMEN Restaurant on the Lobby Level. Your breakfast credit is included in your accommodations. On Friday, April 24, Grab & Go Breakfast Boxes will be available in the CEO Council Hospitality Suite starting at 7:00 AM.

Rome is on Central European Time (CET): 6 hours ahead of Eastern Time (New York), 7 hours ahead of Central Time (Chicago), and 9 hours ahead of Pacific Time (Los Angeles).
What currency is used and how should I pay?
The currency in Italy is the Euro (€). Visa and Mastercard are widely accepted at hotels, restaurants, and shops. Discover and American Express have limited acceptance. Contactless payments (Apple Pay, Google Pay) are also widely available. Carrying some cash is recommended for small purchases like gelato or local cafes. Always choose to pay in euros rather than your home currency to avoid higher exchange fees.

Walking

Rome is very walkable from The St. Regis. Many landmarks like the Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Pantheon, and Piazza Navona are within 15-20 minutes on foot. Walking is the best way to discover hidden streets, local shops, and the authentic charm of the city.
